Introducing Our New Monthly Satellite Image Layer

We all know that hunting lands can change quickly and drastically from season to season. Clearcuts, timber thinning, burns, floods, and agricultural activity may alter habitat and require a shift in strategy and planning. A limitation of more traditional mapping layers has been their recency -- often updated only every 2-3 years, leaving a major blindspot for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.

HuntStand is proud to introduce our new Monthly Satellite Image base layer, included with HuntStand Pro. This makes HuntStand the first consumer app in the world to offer satellite imagery this recent. Although lower resolution than standard base layers, our monthly imagery trades clarity for recency plus provides historical views going back more than 4 years. The most recent view is updated by the 7th of each month, giving you updated satellite imagery from which to plan your next hunt.
